Why is British Sailing so Special to us?
I think when most people think or dream about sailing off on an adventure, they often think about sailing over the horizon and into the sunset of warmer parts of the world. It's for this reason that I wanted to write this article, because as fate would have it, life for us unfolded purely by chance in such as way that we (thankfully) discovered the majesty and beauty that British Sailing had to offer.
Whatever kind of adventure you're after, Britain probably has you covered
A British sailing adventure can take you to some of the most wild and rugged stretches of coastline all the way down to perfect, secluded coves and beaches with golden sand and gin clear water. There really is something for everyone. When we first embarked on this adventure we would start out on the wild coast or northern Scotland before making our way across the stunning Caledonian canal, before heading south, to some of our favourite cursing grounds along the south coast of England.
