Portmellon is a stunning little port just a short distance south west from the ever popular town of Mevigissy. This beautiful, quiet little destination has just one local pub and not a great deal in the way of shops or amenities, but that's not why you'd come here, this place is an escape from the hustle and bustle of regular life and a chance to slow right down and recharge.

There are some beautiful country walks and some amazing diving to be had here. If you love being on the water then you're almost certain to see plenty of wildlife including some local seals which regularly came up to check us out when we were in the water.

The holding of the anchorage is in sand but do be careful getting too close to shore as there's lots of reef along all of this stretch of coast.
